MTB Elective (2.09.16), our MTB elective group (made up of year 3-6 Waihi East School students) rode up a 4WD track on Friday 2nd September, it is called Reservoir Road and leads to the Old Waihi Water Supply Dam. Our group got about half way to the Dam and then we rode out, in all about an hour and 15 minutes of riding including stops. The track gradually climbs, no steep inclines so was enjoyable for all, particularly during the ride out as we cruised downhill for the most part. Sorry no sound in the videos, my cameras audio malfunctioned.
