Parent Interviews, Farewells and Hikoi

Kia ora koutou. Ngā mihi maioha ki a koutou katoa. Warm greetings to you all.

Parent Interviews

Last week of Term 2 or first week of Term 3 .
In Years 1-3 written reports are sent home twice a year, once when they have been at school for 20 weeks, and the other time near their birthday. Written reports for Years 4-6 come home in the middle and at the end of the year. Year 4-6 reports will be coming home this week. The envelope will include a form so that you can book a time for you, your child and their teacher to meet either next week or the first week of next term (ignore this if you have already had this meeting recently).

I urge you, even if you speak with your child’s teacher on a regular basis, to make time for this chat. For your child to hear that you are involved in their learning, and for them to be part of this discussion with you and their teacher can have a positive impact on their future progress and achievement. We are expecting a 100% turnout, so please let your child’s teacher know if you need any additional support to make time for this meeting to happen.

Farewells

We will be farewelling Kirsty Smith after Wella’s Music Concert in the hall on Wednesday 6th July at approximately 12:40pm (before the hangi). We will be farewelling Charlotte Burt at an assembly on Thursday 5th July at 9am. We would love for you to join us if you can.

Hikoi

Take a look below at photos from our recent Community Hikoi (last Friday) where local schools and whanau met at Pumphouse, walked through town singing waiata and then headed back to Pumphouse for lunch.

Ngā mihi nui, Whaea Steph (Anich)
