During term 2 soccer for year 5-6 students in the Waihi District Schools region is being played on Friday afternoons from 3.30 p.m. - 4.45 p.m. at Waihi College, our Waihi East School teams East Extreme and East United enjoyed their first games of the season.

East Extreme - Braydon B for a really good defensive effort particularly around the goal box.
East United - Sarah L for holding her position well on the field (so we were spreading out) and for receiving passes with control, leading us forward on attack and running with determination with the ball at her feet.
